  • Why is there a new agreement?
    • As MTI has grown we have found that our agreements have altered quite a bit from our first one to our current ones.  This new agreement will be used for all products and services moving forward so that we have a consistent promise to our customers.
  • What is my benefit to signing?
    • The most important part of signing this agreement is that it will save you money!  When MTI first began doing websites we did so without charging anything for the design and only charging for hosting.  This means that after the first 3 years you would continue to pay the same rate for all hosting.  Now we separate the hosting from the cost of the website so that after the website is paid for the hosting rates will drop significantly possibly saving you thousands of dollars.
    • Another advantage of this new website is that each and every hosting agreement that we now have is entitled to maintenance time dedicated for Search Engine Optimization.  In the past this was an additional expense.  We now offer time to optimize your website for free.
    • MTI now guarantees that they have and will maintain a certain level of insurance so that our customers can sleep easy knowing that we are insured incase anything goes wrong.
    • No more need to sign a new revised agreement every time you’d like to do some work with MTI.  This will save time and money as this one agreement is all you need to work with us.
  • Why is MTI willing to lose money in this new agreement?
    • This new agreement simply states what MTI is already doing in practice.  By putting it into the new agreement we are making a commitment to our customers in writing for the benefit of you, our customer.
  • So, why does MTI want this new agreement?
    • This new agreement is put together with the most current legal language and is designed to cover MTI for all services, software and hosting.  This is an advantage for us because we are able to streamline our business processes by using this one document.
  • Do I have to sign a new agreement?
    • Legally you do not have to sign the new agreement; however, MTI does not have to continue to provide any services to any customer who does not sign the new agreement.  It is in the best interests of both parties if the agreement can be discussed and signed to be able to move forward without any interruptions.
  • What if I have concerns with the document?  What if I have questions?
    • As with all agreements, this one is not set in stone.  If you have specific concerns with this agreement please contact your account manager to discuss them so that we can revise the agreement and continue moving forward.

WARNING!!! Before you hire Adam Smith of MTI Business Solutions make sure you read this review:

Adam Smith the president of MTI Business Solutions in Coquitlam, B.C. was used to create the NBBC gym website
which turned into a total nightmare. Adam's refusal to follow basic procedure and his lack of knowledge to build
website is disturbing.

For example, various members and gym staff have email addresses for our website. Email is considered highly
personal and private, so because of that, the standard procedure before moving a website to a new server is
to transfer the old settings to the new server so no emails are lost and all members can continue
to receive their emails without delay. What Adam did is going to shock you: (he says he's a professional - the president)

Adam Smith didn't feel it was important to take the step to transfer the email settings to the new server
and instead just set up a "catch all" to just one of the staff's account. Can you believe the professional
neglect? This means that all the private emails of everyone were sent to just one of the staff's account - wow!

It's not just the professional neglect but Adam's attitude towards his error. Adam believes his method
is correct.!! There is something seriously wrong with that thinking, as all of the personal emails were
sent for someone else to read... also, this is NOT the procedure taught in school and is very serious
professional neglect.

Okay, if that's not enough.. the design Adam made does nothing but invite spam. It's hard to say if he's
just lazy or just ignorant to basic rules in web design however up until 10 years ago professional companies
stopped writing email addresses on websites to click. Sure you can do this however their has to be code
within the email address to stop spam machines from getting the email addresses... well, it was no surprise
that Adam didn't use the appropriate code. You can see that he did this on his own website if you can call it that:

Adam Smith from MTI Business Solutions cost me personally over $600 because of his website building
ignorance. I suggest you not take the chance - besides there are so many quality companies out there
that are even cheaper and will do a great job for you.

Before I forget - Adam also doesn't have his own website set up properly so the search engines can find it.
Maybe he'll say he didn't add this yet... however he didn't do this for our website either. I ask, what's the use of having
a website if it can't be found!.... For the reasons I mention above I would find another company to build your website...
After all, why pay for a website that can't be found!
Please use someone that knows what they are doing and your
website will be sucessful.
